Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are files that store and retrieve information about the user's browsing habits. The information obtained relates, for example, to the number of new users, the frequency and repetition of visits, the duration of visits, the browser or computer from which the visit is made or the application is run.

Types of cookies

According to the organization that manages them:

Own cookies: These are cookies that are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

Third-party cookies: These are cookies that are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.

According to Purpose:

Strictly necessary cookies: These are necessary for the website to function and cannot be deactivated in the publisher's systems. They are usually configured to respond to user actions to obtain services such as adjusting their privacy settings, logging in to the website or filling out forms. The user can configure their browser to block or indicate the presence of these cookies, but some parts of the website will then not work.

Performance cookies These are cookies that make it possible to count visits and distribution sources in order to measure and improve the performance of the website. They help the publisher to know which pages are the most popular and least popular and to see how many people visit the website. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If the user does not allow these cookies, we will not know when you visited the website.

Functionality cookies: These allow the website to offer better functionality and personalization. They can be placed by the publisher or by third parties whose services have been added to the website. If the user does not allow these cookies, some services will not work properly.

Targeting cookies: These are cookies that can be site-wide and are placed by third parties, who may use them to build a profile of the user's interests and show relevant advertisements on other websites. They do not store directly personal data, but are based on the clear identification of the browser and the Internet access device. If the user does not allow these cookies, they will be shown less targeted advertising.

Social Networking Cookies: These are cookies set by a number of social networking services that are added to the website to allow the user to share content with their friends and networks. These cookies can track the browser across other websites and create a profile of the user's interests. This may change the content and messages that the user finds on other websites they visit. If the user does not allow these cookies, they will not be able to see or use these sharing tools.

Depending on the duration of the activation:

Session Cookies: These are used to collect and store data while the user accesses the website. They are usually used to store information that is only interesting for providing the service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g. a list of products purchased) and they disappear when the session ends.

Persistent cookies: These are cookies in which the data is still stored in the end device and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie manager, which can range from a few minutes to several years.
